Honestman I do understand that it must be annoying to see so many "OT:top five threads" but it is just a bit of fun and it will pass. I agree with something 71Tele said earlier, and that is the "top 5" threads have taught me a lot about the musical tastes of the fellow Stones fans at this board. I personally have found the threads very interesting reading. I was even moved to create my own [www.iorr.org] and I really enjoyed the responses from people here, it has introduced me to new music recordings. Thats what IORR should be about, in my opinion- Stones fans helping each other out.

But I also realise your point and maybe the large numbers of "top 5" threads were too much. However, there are worse things in life... Do we really need another thread about Taylor vs. Wood?

i've seen other messageboards dedicated to bands that have a section for off-topic posts. why doesn't bv implement that? is he worried that the OT section will be more popular than the stones part of the board?
