Welcome to New York!

New York. Manhattan. The Big Apple. Have a bite! These pages are made for you as a fan of the Rolling Stones. You want to see the shows. Or you want to visit famous places where the Stones went.

Where to meet

New York City is big. But if you stay or go near Madison Square Garden you will see a lot of fans with Stones T-shirts the next few days. There are many places to meet and have drinks and food. If you don't know where to go then Mustang Harry's is the recommended place for Stones fan to meet friends and other fans.

Mustang Harry's

Mustang Harry's is located at 352 Seventh Avenue (between 29th and 30th Streets) in Manhattan. The telephone number is 212-268-8930. If you are standing outside Madison Square Garden on 7th Avenue then just walk down a couple of blocks on the "Garden side" and you will soon see the "Mustang" sign outside "Harry's" saying welcome to you. Mustang Harry's has got one of New York's longest bars, lots of great drinks including draft beers, but also lots of space for great food. Stones fans have been meeting up at Mustang Harry's for many years. The ideal place before shows, after shows or just any time. If you are looking for friends at Mustang Harry's, then remember they have dining also on the upper floor, so be sure to check the 2nd floor as well. See you at Mustang Harry's!

Arrangements for Mustang Harry

It is hard to coordinate a lot of IORR fans coming into NYC, but if you want to met up or join in for a lunch or a dinner then feel free to send an e-mail to [email protected] - with your name, how many people there are in your group, and when you would like to meet up. One suggestion that would be easiest for most of us, outside the big rush late Tuesday afternoon on show day, is having lunch some time say starting at 3pm. According to Harry's it should be possible to arrange a lot of tables if we know by Monday who is coming and when.

Walter's

Another meeting place for Stones fans is Walter's Bar. You may meet fans coming from the Shidoobee and Undercover Stones fan communities in this place. See the links below marked "RSNY by Shoiley".
