Interesting comment by John Catto from the les paul forum on the where abouts of the psychedelic custom. 'That guitar is back in Keith's hands. At some point in the past he gave or loaned it to Alan Rogan who had it for a bunch of years. After the photo of it came out in 50 Years of the Les Paul he remembered and requested it back for sentimental reasons.'

QuoteJJHMick This Five Part Jam is really from Their Satanic's? To me it sounds more like a bit for Brian's movie soundtrack A Degree Of Murder. Yes it's from the sessions for TSMR, it doesn't feature Brian.

Is this the same ones that appear on Time Trip Vol. 4? I believe there is so much satanic stuff due to the Olympic Studios refurbishment when they dumped loads of tapes etc in to skips during the 80's. I recall reading that there was supposed to be a beggars banquet sessions box set like the satanic one coming out(1997?), the jigsaw puzzle disc being a taster, but alas, nothing!?

Quotebehroez And let's face it Brian playing the mellotron on Let's Spend the Night Together during the '67 European tour was absolutly brilliant, the best Let's Spend the Night I've ever heard! This gets repeated, but yet noone has shown in anyway that he did play melltron live, can you prove it? The studio version features Brian on Hammond organ, live during the

Are there set lists for the gigs where Brian was missing? Makes you think, would they have played without Keith during the Brian era had Keith been too ill to play!?

I'll go for Keith's piercing solo in Sympathy For The Devil from Beggars Banquet. It suits the track perfectly and I've been chasing that sound for years, luckily I found it via the Vox Supreme. I also like the fact that some people think it's a wonderful Clapton solo, whilst others think it is proof of how horrendous a guitarist Keith is!?

Quoteryanpow What Yoko is saying is pretty interesting IMO. She's saying that love is being able to let your guard down around someone. Sounds pretty nice to me. In this clip it looks like John Is doing most of the piano playing and there's a brief part where Nicky is on Keyboards. am I mistaken? She's an interesting woman! John is playing the piano, with nicky adding

The stones segments are very interesting, that's if you enjoy seeing how they work etc, but the rest is a load of nonsense, but it's still worth it for the stones segments alone.

Bill only says he plays on it, that could mean he played very little, lots, or even played, but was mixed out. Like Brian played organ throughout the basic recording takes of The Lantern, but all that appears on the final released version is a sustained note during the 'intro's'.

The 'Gimme Shelter thang is via me, due to various reasons I believe those shots are from March 15th 1969, the day they supposedly overdubbed the choir(Mick with choir pic) and also worked on Gimme Shelter. Not saying it's fact, just that it's likely. There's other pics and articles from the same magazine - Rave September 1969 to be exact, which will follow on in tim
