The hot rocks cover with the song banner on top is a much later release, which probably explains the mis match. The 11/18/71 version did not come with the banner cover It shouldn't change the value of this item with the 11/18/71 alternates

According to the latest Stones price guide from Rockin Records from 2013, with help from Very English And Rolling Stones expert Thomas Grosh the It's All Over Now purple white label listed as time 2:28 but plays all 3 verses is listed as value of 50-75 dollars the book does not mention the 3:20 that has the edit of 2 verses. So maybe it is rarer and not discovered by collectors and authors

QuoteHenrikBB After 3 years of search, - I finally got it ! The Radio-Edit of "It´s All Over Now" - 2.48 (the second verse is removed) This is a mysterious release ! In the early sixties, - when Radio Was King, - "Pop"-songs had to be short and effective, - so many "Radio-Edits" was made, - and then released on Promo-singles, - the LONDON-company

QuoteHendrik Bought recently a copy of the 1966 live album Got Live If You Want. It was the mono edition, LL 3493. Matrix side 1: Matrix side 2: LL3493-B That's right! No matrix on side 1 and only the catalogue number on side 2. So decided to play it, put it on my recorplayer, side 1.....NO announcement! Under My Thumb started straight away! Way cool!!! would love to hear that a

Except for No Expectations, Brian's audio is not on this one. Too bad. It was his final performance with the band.

Quotekammpberg In fact if you listen with a non-biased ear "God Gave Me Everything", "Don't Call Me Up" and "Too Far Gone" are far superior than anything on Crosseyed Heart. I totally agree, love Mick's album. Keith's has too many boring songs. Very dissapointing.

Even Keith's Record company at the Sirius XM album debut party in NYC didn't know about the 2 songs after Goodnight Irene . They thought the album was finished and then played the Movie Under The Influence as soon as Irene ended, or they were bored with the record at that point and wanted to get on with the evening. The album reviewer probably thought the same thing.

It was censored in the US on the original vinyl/tape release. Not until the CD world started in 1986 for the Stones was it heard uncensored. Ironically, with the "new" Universal release, the original censored version appeared on the first batch of CDs, much to the dismay of many( not sure why people were so upset,it became a rare collectors item again, and we got the censored version

Hate is a strong word, especially when considering its the stones. So these are the songs I play the least, or skip on CD. 1. I Just Wanna See His Face 2. Please Go Home 3. Saint Of Me 4. Sweet Neocon 5. Infamy 6. Look What The Cat Dragged In 7. This Place Is Empty 8. Thief In The Night 9. How Can I Stop 10. Losing My Touch As much as I don't favor I Just Wanna See His Face,

just out of curiosity, what is notable about take 1 of "dear doctor"? i am not familiar with it. It's what the engineer says before the take on the bootleg of take 1. Not that notable really. Just a name I picked for the Shidoobee site I joined first and I carried it over here.

I love this song, it brings back great memories of the time. Let's put this song in perspective, as it was released as a non album b-side, but unlike other non album b-sides preceeding it, it was released 6 months after Some Girls was released. To me that was the excitement, having loved Some Girls, to me my favorite album of all time, then six months later we got to hear more from those sessi

QuoteBlueranger Quotedeardoctortake1 QuoteBlueranger Quotewhitem8 It is a shame they didn't release the Mono pressing of Sticky Fingers with the Deluxe box set. Why? It's a folddown from the stereo mix. Nothing is different except that it's the two signals combined into one. Wow, I always thought and heard it was a different mix, combined with the rarity of the mono WLP, hence the high price
