An illuminating clip, I remember seeing it before.

Can anyone help me out? What does Jagger say as he introduces Richards here:

[youtu.be]

'And wearing a combination of domestic...'?

"And wearing a combination of domestic zoo patterns.."

This is from "The Roadie Tapes."

Two nearly complete concerts from New Jersey 1997.

Illuminating stuff indeed. Amazing how they pretty much have their own little world going on up there in front of all of those people.

For me this sounds so much better than the official LA show. I don't know why but there is something I don't like about the sound.

Yeah it's a raw SB of one of the best shows of the tour.

Too much party in LA and NYC.Some songs were great.
But other concerts like Buffalo or Ft. Collins, etc. had more power and good playing.

Thanks for the nice words and the info. My friend Dan sent it to me to share. He's not on IORR due to work restraints, etc...

There are many great videos there (Reelin' In The Years Archives)!

Anybody know the significance, or insignificance, of what appears to be a book of matches stuck in the strings of Keith's guitar headstock? Inside joke of some sort?

Any ideas? Knowledge?

Peace,
Mr DJA

Love Keith laughing at something Bill said. Yeah, it's a prepared track, but at least that part was new and 'live' as compared to the Mick singing HTW over the studio cut on Ed Sullivan show. Would love to see/hear from live cuts from 1969.
