I was there. My camera wasn't. Remember how after the show, the crowd around the stage REFUSED to leave for at least ten minutes after they turned on the house lights? What did they think was gonna happen?

So THAT is where that picture of Ronnie is from! I've always wondered about that. Because I've always seen it in association with the Emotional Rescue era...

whoa - those are some fine Barbarian shots, although you're right that not all of them are from MSG.

Hey, what a picture!!!!

Unfortunately, the mast head (and date) is missing, though I would suspect that as the gig was on Monday 7th May, the NME would have included it in the edition dated Saturday 19th May, 1979. I'd bet my (worthless) life on it!

The soundboard from the MSG show is one of the most enjoyable shows from the Barbarians. It's pro shoundboard and it really sounds good, not like the dry soundboard of that Buried Alive boot.
