Spotted on a blog....one shagged out copy of Bleed...

I found a copy of the Rolling Stones’ Let it Bleed at
the station the other day with an interesting handwritten note on it.

Just a reminder from your Lakewood FLA Baptist Church.
Out of 1000 who became pregnant out of wedlock, 984 did
so while listening to rock music. Music like this..........

Little Boy Blue and The Blue Boys cop a mention in the opening
lyrics of Pretty Beat from the Pretty Things recent release Balboa Island

Great sounding album cut on analog equipment....Amazing drum sound on
opening track The Beat Goes On.....Also a tribute number to Robert Johnson..
..a cover of Dylan's Hollis Brown and a slide shattering work over of Muddy's Feel Like Going Home...

Pretty Things...Dick Taylor...Phil May...Frank Holland.

thanks Rockman! i've been curious about that book, and that review is ... odd, isn't it.
if the US bits are so error-laden, why does the reviewer feel confident the UK parts are accurate, i wonder?

didn't Clayson write a so-so "track-by-track" Stones book? This one sounds more promising, but I'm not sold on his credentials.
