Let's hear about STP! I didn't actually SEE the band, I was living in Hicksville, New York, Long Island and I was 13 years old. My family was getting ready to move to Seattle.

I can tell you that even at my tender young age it was Stones Stones Stones the week they played the Garden. It was in the papers and on the news. My neighbours almost went; I can not remember if they did or not.

The Stones OWNED New York that week. I have never seen anything like it since, esp. in Sleepy Seattle, the third tier hamlet...

geez, i didn't even think to make old people jokes ! maybe because the stones are in better shape than a lot of people i know !

At the end of the 1792 shows, they had a bunch of dudes behind the stage shooting muskets instead of fireworks.

the bunch of dudes behind the stage were keiths pirate crew....after every tour which happend around every 20 years in the 18th century they cruised around the carribean burnin and lootin and stealin....with their own rolling stone pirate boat!

1792 was a heavy drugged tour...

around 1890 their then signed manager started getting nervous: "they are already in the business for a 100 years, and still no nr. 1 hit!"

Ah my son that is so long ago we were still free back than roaming the land...lots of Tatanka everywhere!Constantly we were on tour a lot of peyote and no wire nowhere..we didnt have ''Tell me'' we used smoke signals...next time you visit me son I will tell more about the times so many moons ago!

I remember their being alot of backlash against the stones on this tour. It might have been because they were british and we colonists had just thrown off the shackles of the British tyrants, or maybe it was the fact that Virginia's tobacco plantations had a long recovery time after the Stones left.
