I was in Tourin 82, that day it made very warm, and i see Keef and it was not in good conditions, i don't know if this were caused from the alcool, the drug or high temperature
but it was not in conditions for singing.

fascinating, Stone601 - can you tell us more about what you mean?
do you mean he seemed drunk, juiced up & sloppy? or more like he was ill?
was he playing okay?

well of course it was no big deal, here it is 2007 and keith is still going strong, many people need oxygen masks on a very hot day when doing something physical, ever watch football

The truth is, that it was the oxygen who needed a Keith Richards-mask.

nah.
but in Milano this year the day or two before the show lots of people were complaining
about how hard it was to breathe, and saying that that's typical of Milano.
they blamed the pollution, though, not just the heat - was Turin like that in 82?

actually, this year in Milan the weather was much better - i.e. less warm - than in 2003, when the Stones came for the Licks Tour.

LOL That is too funny Erik. I also don't think it is that big a deal if it was hot and Keith is knocking back the Valpolicella and playing his ass off. I saw many artists in NY's Central Park in summer concerts who would run offstage to suck on a Oxy mask.

Yes, I guess that's true, Chelsea.
I remember being to the stadium show at Licks tour in Sweden. One of my friends fainted because of the heat, and the fact that he'd been consuming whiskey and beer for 3 days....he didn't drink water or eat much...he wasn't drunk at all.
I'll bet Keith didn't look too much after himself in 82 either...mainly a cigarettes and Jack Daniels diet.

And Keith can take a few thought..and back in the day he did just one song with Woody on background Voccals..and I love that version..and to me its a big deal that he didnt do it cause to me he is a big deal..so its worth finding out R&R history..cause I think it didnt happen either in 81 or 82!And Erik I always cary some sugar with me grape -sugar..do wonders when in need.

They are passes 25 years, and the memories are little.
I was on fos, and i see the guys play a good concert.
I think about Keith it was not in vein to sing.
It's all.

beautiful shots, thank you!
and thanks for the explanation too - cool that it was no big deal and didn't disrupt the concert.
the phrase "carried out with an oxygen mask" can mean a lot of things, which is why i wondered -
besides which i personally would have been extremely distraught to get Angie instead of Little T&A. :E
