Here we go again! The question is moot...Mick is not a US citizen, can't vote in US elections...he and I would probably disagree on most political issues...who gives a shite...he rocks and I roll!

And to be fair to Mick he doesn't turn his concerts into a pep rally unlike bimbo babs who ought to be ashamed of herself- sandbagging half the audience. She should be booed off the stage for her antics alone not to mention the fact she has been washed up for years. When was the last time she had a hit?

What I meant about the hits is that the Stones still crack the top forty with their singles- in most countries anyway although the crap music scene in the U.S. hinders their chances. Babs hasn't come out with anything interesting in eons.

FrankM-he may be, I'll have to take your word for it, but it doesn't seem like he's capable of having a civilized discussion on something he doesn't agree with.

You guys are out of control. My original list was an attempt at humor and a departure from hair, width, relative performance value, what we're listening too etc. As with most politics in America (unfortunately) Dems and Repubs are virtually interchangeable. Ask a reasonable person where they stand on the issues and you will most likely get a response that includes the perceived ideals of both parties. Let's all calm down. But in all seriousness, isn't it LUCKY that we get to live in a world where we are able to do this---argue about politics and ideas-and whether an 81 show was better than a 97' or a 06' show! Is it time to bring up Keith's probable politics?

Although your motive may have been innocuous lynn you now see that these types of threads get heated as they go on and on.

You can start a thread about almost anything here- The Beatles vs. The Stones, Star Trek vs. Star Wars, Ginger vs. Marianne etc. etc. but once politics gets into the picture people lose their cool- me included.

Frank you're rather brash and most of the time incorrect. I for one think Reagan was a horrible president as he blinded our nation into becoming a far more conservative and feerful nation than it was prior to him. He used media tactics to scare us into thinking no one but him and his powerful GOP could protect us from communism and terror. In fact they were wrong, very wrong. He blocked many important environmental and pro-medicine bills, as well as stating that all homosexuals had mental illness. I'm not promoting Clinton, but Reagan was and is a very over-rated president.
