I'm a bit disappointed with the album. It will perhaps grow on me. I hope so smiling smiley

Just finished listening to J Geils Band's "The Morning After" Album.

The last two songs are among my favorites:
Floyd's Hotel
[www.youtube.com]

and It Ain't What You Do (It's How You Do It)

While searching for links, I found this live version of Floyd's Hotel:

I so need the Geils boys to book some shows when I actually have some pocket money. So disappointed that, even though I have the funds, I can't catch either of the Peter Wolf shows close to me as I'm busy both nights.

Peace,
Mr DJA

It's one of my dreams to see this brilliant band in concert, mr_dja. The same goes for Peter Wolf. It's time to realise that the East coast isn't the world's navel, Peter!

Playing right now: Obscured By Clouds by Pink Floyd

From your lips to Pete's ears! His solo tour is actually coming far enough south this time to be within about 4 hours of me (Atlanta & Nashville) on consecutive nights and I just can't seem to make it work to get to either place! No doubt I'm happy to have my job which would provide me with the cash to attend but, I can't get off work early enough on Friday to get through the Chattanooga & Atlanta traffic to get to the show in time. Saturday I've got an afternoon show of my own and due to the location, there's now way I could be both places. Arrgh!

As I think about it, The J Geils Band, may be the last act that remains on my "bucket list". While there are many other acts I haven't seen, I'm pretty sure that, JGB is the only one on the list that I'll "regret" never getting out to see live if I never manage to do so. C'mon Pete, get the boys back together one more time so me and DandelionPowderman (and I'm sure others) can get out before it's too late!

Peace,
Mr DJA
