Neil Young & Promise Of The Real 2015-07-09 Red Rocks show :

a very nice surprise, Neil sounds great and seems re-energized to play with a bunch of "kids" instead of his old mates from Cray Horse.

26 songs played that night including some real rarities... 2 songs past the 13' mark... Coudl Neil show the path for "senior" rock? smoking smiley

Downloading this I was looking for an upgrade from Ralph Molina's ragged drumming but it was not to be found. ''Promise Of The Real'' sounds like a teenage backyard band... but I guess it fits Neil.

Lovely resurrection of ''Double E'' also, as encore grinning smiley That's almost like if The Stones would close their shows with a lengthy ''Lies''.

No music, just the sound of rain falling down outside the house, the tapping of my fingers typing this and the noise of a toothbrush inside my mouth.
