The first photo IS Sienna Miller. I also recognize a few of those photos as my OLD bad quality scans from when my Anita group wasn't private a few years ago. They're even cropped exactly the same...and that is not a coincidence. Also, the last pic in on row that you have is one of my screen captures from "Dillinger is Dead" that I posted a few years ago when I had just got the equipment to do screen caps. And by some strange coincidence, it is also cropped exactly how mine was.
I like going to Stones boards, but it sucks to see pictures that I worked really hard to obtain, scan, crop, edit, and post, and I don't get any credit. The least you could do is give the photographer's name. I know the photographer of every single one of those photos, but I doubt you do.
This is like the fifth time today I've visited a Stones site and seen at least one of my old scans with no credit given to me or the photographer. It takes all the fun out of sharing photos, which is why I'm never going to make my site public again.

There was a thread about a few weeks ago talking about people posting photos and not giving credit to the photographers. To be honest, it never even occurred to me to do so, just out of complete ignorance for this sort of thing. I never thought about the people who put the time into uploading it either.

Anyway, the day I read that I made a mental note that I should start doing it, although I am guilty of not always remember to do so, so your message is a good reminder to me and others. I just never thought it bothered people, but now that I know it does, I will make more of an effort.

I think there's probably a bunch of us here who are in the same boat, just not realizing we were offending the person who did the work.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Thank you for your post. I know people don't know the "rules," and post pics because it's fun. I remember back in '99 I posted some photos I found on the internet, and this girl let me have it. I felt awful. I didn't know about netiquette then. So I totally understand when people make that mistake.
But there are a group of women who took hundreds of photos from my group and stamped their names on them as though they own them, and they put them all over the net. Now, a dozen pics is not a big deal. But when you're talking about basically taking someone's entire site of hundreds of rare photos, that just makes me upset because I don't think people realize the time and effort that goes into it.
I just want to discuss the Stones, their friends and families, and have good time here. It seems like you guys have a lot of fun around here.

I try and give the photographer his credit but in a lotta book/mags the poor photographer is often not mentioned...I do my best.

That IS Suki with Brian. I have about five more pictures of them from that day...they were on their way to see Anita's film premiere "Candy" in the Spring of 1969.

chippy....No5 down who is the guy with the bandaged face?..I have that photo but doesn't list everyone in the photo.
