Could somebody help me with these please! Thanks!

Also, how much coke were The Barbarians and RTB doing to think this mix sounds good?

Can't help you with the chords, but here are the lyrics as I hear them. As for the coke, not sure about RTB, but it was plentiful to be certain. The lyrics contain references to the in-jokes on the labels of RSR LPs and cassettes at the time [COC and CUN].

Let me tell you 'bout someone who's no pleasure to meet
You wouldn't offer her a back seat
Just 'cause her father's a vicar who is full of pulpit
There is no one sicker, spells s-h-1-t

Well she looks real cute when she puts in the boot
A night time slicker, an A.R.S. licker
A C.O.C. teaser, an ice cream squeezer
Her C.U.M.'ll really do you in
So don't you try to F.U.C. her if I wouldn't touch her with mine

Well she went to California, turned everybody off
Sure has a nice way of f'ing things up
She used to make all the guys cream
In her ice blue jeans and a jar of Vaseline

Well she looks real cute when she puts in the boot
A night time slicker, an A.R.S. licker
A C.O.C. teaser, an ice cream squeezer
Her C.U.N.'ll really do you in
That's what I say if you try this for size

So her destiny lies now in the pit of fate
One of those strange people you just love to hate
She is S.I.C., she is deranged
Even her poor old banker was short-changed

She looks real cute when she puts in the boot
A night time slicker, an A.R.S. licker
A C.O.C. teaser, an ice cream squeezer
Her C.U.N.'ll really do you in
So don't you try to F.U.C. her if I wouldn't touch her with mine

Well she looks real cute when she puts in the boot
A night time slicker, an A.R.S. licker
A C.O.C. teaser, an ice cream squeezer
Her C.U.N.'ll really do you in
So don't you try to F.U.C. her if I wouldn't touch her with mine
So don't you try to F.U.C. her if I wouldn't touch her with mine
If you wanna risk F.U.C. her, try this for size

It is in the key of C; and the chords that johnh linked are right. Only thing I'd add is that the intro is in A, and there is a chromatic walk-up to the beginning of the song. After that the A does not appear again.
And I'd also add a Bb in between the G and resolving C. Where it goes "so don't you try to fuc her", you add the Bb under the word 'her' before ending back on the C.
I had never listened to that song carefully, and I like that rhythm guitar, LOL. There is someone playing it real basic.

If you look at the back of the record sleeve it has the the tracks listed with their tempo and the key they are in!

F.U.C. HER - UP. A up to C.

Actually this was always my impression, the verse in A and then by "she looks real cute" changing to C.

I usually save this grade of treasure for personal visitors to my collection but since this song was asked about here are the original working lyrics...

Lovely Matt. You didn't show me that when I came to your attic! I love Gimme Some Neck. Yeah the production is weird, but also so mysteriously murky, like a deep code you always try to decipher. I don't mind it, it is like a mix between the mix on Exile and Some Girls. I loved when I got this album and there was no internet, not a lot of rock press that I had access to, other than Rolling Stone. And reading about the mysterious guests on it, and then seeing Midnight Special with Ringo playing the drums on Buried Alive. Looking at the cover, and all the drawings and trying to make out the other guests not listed in the credits. A great cover and inner sleeve on that album.

whitem8, my collecting has gathered pace overtime. I actually own a couple of handfuls of the original drawings and lyrics as featured on the Gimme Some Neck sleeve. It's a truly awesome cover. Each time you look at it you see something new. I've actually traded bits on there that I hadn't even spotted until later and thought, "dam, I had that.... why did I trade it". You can never get everything though and it's a pleasure to have owned some things that are now enjoyed by someone else.

Ringo on Buried Alive must be seen in connection with Ronnie on Ringo's Stop and Smell the Roses" with their co-composed Dead Giveaway, two years later.

I like Roy Thomas Baker's production. It has some unique'freshness'.

Further interesting hints given on Ronnie's artwork. One of the squares has the headline The Stack Room:
# Fiji Jim (one verse) - famous outtake, usually listed as Jagger/Richards
# Respectable (participated in verse) - Jagger/Richards on Some Girls the year before)
# Do You Think I Really Care (sum words/sum music - Ronnie's spelling) - new Some Girls
# Everything Is Turning to Gold (Music, Chorus line, sum words) - b-side of Shattered the year before.
# Once You Start (music, Mick words) - I have no idea about that song! Anyone else?

It further mentions Munich Hilton, Black Limousine and Los Trios Guitarres

But: If he confesses the music but only some words on Infekshun, who has done most of the lyrics?!

Thanks to all for your help and comments. A couple of things:

1. Vicar's daughter a nod to the Bishop's daughter on Jigsaw Puzzle?

2. Any help with chords on "Worry No More"?

I don't think so JHM; the A is only in the intro.

I<MO Ronnie's songs are often tricky. While not really overly difficult, he always plays by his own rules. So he might throw a strange one time chord in just for the hell of it. And his sessions are by all accounts always a loose affair, so a player might do his own thing, and Ronnie will leave it in because it helps the overall feel. Like on 'Worry' - that is a simpler song, but it gets tricky because he doesn't always do the same pattern. Plus I notice the bass player throws it off even more, by not resolving in home key, but often just keeps walking. That, and the piano riffing.
It's in C. The intro has J Williams playing in key of C (and F G).
Verses are
F - my life was once
G - filled with
C - anger
F - so much
G - anger and
C - grief
F - bla bla
G - spirit
C - into my
Am - heart
F - it's the only thing that
G - gives me
C - relief (this is where it resolves, but it always feels different because bass and piano keep on walking)

C - more
Chorus
When the
F - devil comes around its gonna be
C - knock knock knock knockin
F - knockin at
G - your front
C - door; you gotta
F - go out and
G - greet him
C - greet him with a
Am - smile, and say
F - devil, I don't
G - worry, no
C - more (here at the end of chorus I THINK the bassist turns the xchords around. )

Never paid much attention to the lyrycs (I rarely do, as a matter of fact);
but I always thought "FUC Her" was kind of a 'letter-pun' aiming at "If You See Her"...
but reading it now, obviously they DID go for the (maybe more obvious) "F*ck Her"-way-to-read-it.

Oh well. Just my imagination... smoking smiley
