Great show, and what a crowd!!

My gawd... One can imagine a time traveler fantasy. It's the Spring of 1967 and the boys are all hanging out in the English countryside and buzzing along quite happily on really good acid. They are talking about seeing this new guy named Jimmi Hendrix the night before. The sun is shining and you can just about feel the trees growing and drawing up the water from the good Earth and soaking in the sunshine - from your new-found perspective.

Mick and Keith are planted on the ground just as pleased as punch. You walk up to them and casually take your place on the ground and chill with them for a few minutes. You are wearing happy shiny people clothes - "threads" - and all is cool.

You look at Mick and Keith and say, "I am from the future and I am telling you that you are still going to be touring in 2016. I saw you in Buenos Aires and you did a fantastic show. On either side of the stage there are going to be giant five-story-high live video projection screens and every single person in the audience is going to have a miniature colour film camera to record you if they want, sort of like Star Trek. Thank you for you contributions to life, music, and love."

Then you just get up and walk away and it all just blurs into their acid trip and life goes on.

"I am from the future and I am telling you that you are still going to be touring in 2016. I saw you in Buenos Aires and you did a fantastic show..."

And then, Charlie says: "Man, you must be crazy... We'll stay together, as band, for six- seven months, not more..."

I think nothing beats Buenos Aires in 1995. From what I´ve seen and heard, the crowd went absolutely crazy at those 5 Voodoo shows at River Plate Stadium.

This kind of looks like a dinosaur head biting Mick's arm up to his shoulder

Yes very strange, but remember that he had problems with singing this song already in 1997.

Overall I think this version was surprisingly good considering it's the first time they've played it since BTB-tour.

I agree, it was very good. But Mick needs to sing it an octave down from the start. It's not like he can't do it. He does it brilliantly on Out Of Control.

Must be, like with 2000 LYFH on Glasto, hearing issues (bad in-ear-mix, or something). He was miles off the root note on the bridge

The police were using rubber bullets to stop the ticketless from forcing their way into the stadium.
