I'm looking at doing a story on the 1976 show at Knebworth. Were any IORR members at that gig? Would be good to hear from you.

No, zuiderpark Den haag Netherlands, may 1976. My first Stones gig with my brother.

Yes I was there, what I remember it was a long hot day and night.
There was a long wait between 10cc and the stones coming on.
I think the stones hit the stage around 12.30am.

I was there, long hot sunny weekend.

I was there, I had a jeans company TOMMY JEANS. Was selling jeans outside as people came in then went into gig when everyone was inside.

Remember dancing around a campfire about 2 in the morning to Around and Around, after such a hot day it was quite cold by then. Also remember Lynard Skynard in the afternoon

second time I saw them on that tour, saw them in Paris in June as well with the Lotus stage.

+1, about 30 yards to the left of the big oak tree, about 50 from the stage.........

I was there and It was a long day but worth the wait.

Search through the IORR archives for a thread that is something like "Did Lynyrd Skynyrd really blow the Stones offstage at Knebworth?". There were several first-person accounts about Knebworth 1976 posted in that thread.

One person in particular (I think his name is "Four Stone Walls" ) posted some really detailed memories about his experience at Knebworth.

There are quite a few lengthy Knebworth '76 threads indeed.

One of the stories that really stick with me from that show was the assertion that someone from the Stones camp had cut the audio snake prior to 10cc's performance in order to give time for Keith to "wake up" and be present and functioning for the Stones show. That's some pretty devious stuff man.
