two stars: DW and BTB

How does goats head soup get 5 stars but black and blue only gets 4 ( and iorr gets 3 and a half)?

I would give black and blue 4 and a half. I would give goats head soup 3 and a half and I'd give iorr 4. And I would give Dirty Work 3 and a half. It actually has better songs thnan Undercover - one Hit is an awesome song, Fight is good, sleep tonight is great, too rude is good, winning ugly is pretty good, Harlem shuffle is good...overall it's really not a bad album.

There's some good stuff on there, but I don't know ... There's something about the way it holds together, for me. I don't know if we got the tracks in the right order or something like that. Sometimes, it can make the difference on a record, the way it flows. But I enjoyed making it very much. And the other thing, I hope to get them into the studio again, because we haven't been in there since [laughs].

If you put on a Stones album, which one would it be?
Exile, probably, or Sticky Fingers. Sometimes Beggars Banquet. I do sometimes prefer Bridges to Babylon.

Regarding A BIGGER BANG, remove about a quarter of the album and it's a decent album. There's too much on it that doesn't work.

sometimes i guess people step right in it, and walk around with it on their shoe for a while, and then don't notice how bad it smells.
