Great pic, thanks johnny. I wonder whose taking all these Mick travel photos?

They should play Cuba. However, I wonder how the tickets would be priced? Unless
I'm mistaken the Cuban population would have difficulty affording the prices which Stones are accustomed to for their concert tickets. Especially with the number of tickets necessary to fill a stadium.

I wonder if he gets to meet El Comandante? Come to think of it; they're both commanders now!

My silly bet is a free concert, funded by politcally correct sponsors, which have interest to thrive in Cuba. Stones playing free, expenses covering only the crew and the logistics.

Typical close-minded American speaking here, as I have no idea what other countries have travel restrictions into Cuba, besides the United States...
...but I hope that this show is announced much sooner than later so it allows U.S citizens time to figure out what qualifications we can apply for to visit Cuba and how to go about travelling there

Stupid question. Is Cuba safe?
Well, I spent a month there 10 years ago and lived to tell the tale with not a scrape. A lot of keeping safe is down to applying common sense, wherever you are in the world, which includes our own home countries.
Thank you.

Incredibly exciting, LOVE that pic of Mick.
I have a great idea! Do the concert free admission but televise it pay per view live!
That way all of us that can't make it to Cuba (and if this happens, I hope ALL the Cuban people living there get to go)
can witness the historical event, and the pay per view earnings cover expenses.

Not this kat. I'm trying, trying, trying, to get in and have a pending application, but there is constipation in the Dept. of State. This is a once-in-a-lifetime once-in-a-lifetime.

there was a follow up article about mick's visit that mentioned that mentioned a huge amount of interest in the concert, citing (i think, if my spanish is good enough) 2 million impressions on twitter for "mick jagger cuba"

Mick is the man, but I'm beginning to think that the only time he is around people his own age is when he's on stage with The Strolling Bones.

Because no-one his age can keep up with him! I hike everyday, I'd give it my best shot ;-)

I just started researching this...but what did you apply for? Can one apply for a general timeframe i.e "i would like to visit Cuba between March X and March Y"? And how long is the approval process?
