“Nos gustaría visitar Cuba ahora que la situación está cambiando. Es un lugar en donde se han dado grandes pasos culturales para el mundo entero. Sería interesante estar ahí, porque es un lugar nuevo para nosotros y seguramente seremos una novedad para ellos. Las negociaciones avanzan y cuando haya una confirmación lo haremos saber”, dijo el legendario guitarrista.

That quote is from Keith from his interview last month. The quote is not new news.

The article says Mick went to Cuba with his son.

It also says Daryl jones was encouraging them to play Cuba.

The photo is of mick with the workers at the restaurant he went to

Hopefully Mick Jagger will be confronted with musical impulses that will inspire him to make a song or two in the borderland of ethnic music and rock.

They should play Cuba. However, I wonder how the tickets would be priced? Unless
I'm mistaken the Cuban population would have difficulty affording the prices which Stones are accustomed to for their concert tickets. Especially with the number of tickets necessary to fill a stadium.

Thanks for posting. Don't recall seeing Mick wearing a wedding-type ring/band, but maybe I'm just used to seeing live pics. A Cuban concert would be cool.

Don't know if it has any credence, but a free show in Revolution Square was mentioned somewhere.

Well, I spent a month there 10 years ago and lived to tell the tale with not a scrape. A lot of keeping safe is down to applying common sense, wherever you are in the world, which includes our own home countries.

"They're fighting for Mr. Castro in the streets of Angola."

Ah, well, the Stones played communist Warsaw in 1967 when all the communist elite's kids were in the front rows. plus ça change, plus c'est la meme chose.
