Some of these Michael Copper photos (for sale) really do seem to answer the description 'not previously seen in public'

(Strangely I was actually at Proud's 5 weeks ago and there was nothing around about this upcoming exhibition.)

I contacted Michael's son recently about buying a psych era line up of the Stones. Think it was about $4000 I was quoted.

Thanks for the heads up Captain - I usually get an email alert from Proud for new exhibitions but good to know in advance. Looking forward to seeing these photos in all their glory.

Thanks Captain. That caption of the photo of Keith in Joshua Tree.."toking a substance" , just cracks me up. Who are these writers for Daily Mail?

That picture of Keith at Stonehenge doesn't look a bit like him to me (if you see what I mean).

Pretty sure the photo of Brian is NOT his last photo taken.
I think its from Monterey, June 1967.
Also, was Cooper in the Stones circle as early as 1963?

While the outfit is similar, I think if Michael Cooper was at Monterey we would be seeing a lot more of his photo's from the Pop festival. But I agree the date is probably pretty close.

I know. Almost as good as the one of Brian that says it's the last shot of him taken "before his death in 1973" (!!!)

Maybe some of the Daily Mail staff were 'toking' a little something themselves when they put this together.

The photo of Brian was taken circa June 1967 in Michael Coopers studio at 4 Chelsea Manor Studios, 1-11 Flood Street, London (same place where cover of Sgt Pepper was created/photographed).

Went to Proud Chelsea for this exhibiton this evening......

There are several pictures which we would all have seen before but also several previosuly unpublished shots which were superb and largely candid, unposed photos. In addition there was a fine selection of furniture.......
