I doubt that Atlantic City 89 will be released as there would probably have to be clearance's obtained for all the special guests.

Ah ha ha ha ha - NOT if they were EDITED OUT!!!!!!!!!

I suppose the complaining about this release is, you knowwwww, I mean, how many people have 3000 live bootlegs from one tour? So how is this release a problem?

I could see a beyond legit complaint if they reissued a super deluxed DIRTY WORK instead of TATTOO YOU or at this point any other album.

Where is the best place to preorder things, Amazon sucks you get it like a week after its released. Love these vinyl/dvd sets!

In the above screenshot of Amazon, the CSS (style sheets) are temporarily out of order for some reason. That makes most of the typography and design disappear, which leaves a very rudimentary "1998 style" website. smiling smiley

Thanks, that's what I thought, and hence I became reluctant to make a purchase from that 1998-ish site smoking smiley

I've preordered all three sets from Amazon and received them the Sunday before the release date of the Monday, for free too.

Anyone knows if there are special Japan releases with bonus-material? My Japanese can be better, but it seems there no extras there?

Alex.

Looks like this time only T-shirt and tour book.
Tokyo 1990 has just been released last week by Ward Records: T-shirts, backstage passes, a bonus DVD with a documentary and the tour book.

How come the Leads set only says dvd or blue ray. Nothing about the vinyl set coming out for this one.

I didn't go to this show, as at 13 I was too young to travel from Manchester to Leeds solo. However one happy coincidence is that a guy at school sold me his AC/DC ticket for Manchester Apollo on October 3 '82 For those about to Rock tour so that he could use the money to buy a ticket for this show. I think he got the better end of the deal but the AC/DC show was my first ever and a totally amazing eye opening experience..
So Maine Rd 1990 was my first Stones shows. I went both nights and the rearranged Steel Wheels date at Wembley, scoring a ticket outside late when we had given up hope of getting any, missing Start me up. But having spent a lot of the 80's watching the LSTNT movie I could see I had missed the bus and was only getting the imitation Stones.
So yes I will buy this release and enjoy what I missed first time round..

Ps have they edited out Jimmy Saville??
