Seems strange to me that I first saw them in May of '65 here in Florida, but they had not yet played in Germany which is much closer to the UK!smiling smiley

BTW I corresponded with Oliver Schwabe who directed this documentary about a documentary about the Tour of Europe 1973 featuring concert Clips and newsreels from different countries but he told me that it would be too expensive to buy the rights to the films.

And three days later Anita Pallenberg plotted and then succeeded in meeting Brain Jones, took him to her hotel room, offered up amyl nitrate and hash, and eventually became arguably one of the top 2 or 3 most significant and influential forces within The Rolling Stones.

This first German tour ended up having such far reaching implications, personally and professionally, with the band in general, and with the leaders of the band specifically.

Strange indeed.

It's rather not strange, because Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and the Blues (the roots of The Rolling Stones) are from the US, not from Germany .... smiling smiley
