Problem with that one is that it's just an unproven claim with little to support it.

As far as I read, he was at the Yellow Submarine session but he was the one who helped with sound effects, as can be read here:

"The sound effects which made Yellow Submarine so memorable were overdubbed on 1 June 1966. The group raided Abbey Road's 'trap room'; a small area, little more than a cupboard, which housed whistles, bells, chains and a huge number of other sources for sound effects.

Everybody at the studio was encouraged to join in the recording. A bath filled with water had chains dragged around inside it; The Rolling Stones' Brian Jones clinked glasses, John Lennon filled a bucket with water and blew bubbles into it, and contributed some memorable vocals to the final verse."

this was a tough one to answer!!!! First The stones were never on a Dean Martin Variety Hour show. There was a Hollywood Palace TV Show that had Dean Martin as the host. The Satisfaction question the answer should have been A tape recorder, not a fuzz box. They got the fuzz box in L.A. after they first recorded it at Chess Studios the day before. If it wasn't for the tape recorder Keith had Satisfaction may never had happened???
Although I wrote a story (which never got published) about what I think is the true story of "I Can't Get No Satisfaction. Different from what we all have heard..
