Really great track. Still holds up. Best Stones song in ages. Really. (In my opinion of course.)

Yeah, the "Tumbling Dice-groove" is nice. But it's not Tumbling Dice...

A b-side track. It's really only a part of a song, played by Keith, Bill and Charlie. That part is looped to make it a full song. Then a very standard lead guitar is added + a mediocre Mick vocal.
I like the groove and Bill's bass, but it's not even close to a great song for me.

Dandy...you may be having an aneurysm right now. I would call 911 at your earliest opportunity.

I simply do not see it in the same context.

Plundered my Exile on Main St. Outtakes.
Most of these are "Frankenstein" tracks.
Early 70's instrumentals with Jagger solo 2000's lyrics.
Too Bad.
The natural songs are the best, like the alternate I Ain't Lying.

It's blinking brilliant - and the first song in donkey's years that truly makes me remember why I love this band so much.

But then, what is Tumbling Dice that they released in the past decades?

I like that one better than PMS. I feel that many are trapped in the nostalgia bubble, and that having Taylor back with Jagger almost means more than the music itself.

You might feel that way, and with that you can probably explain to yourself its huge success among many of us hardcore Stones fans, but you simply are wrong. It would be like saying that you don't like it, because there is Taylor again, and no Wood, no matter how it sounds... (which I don't believe), If you don't like the tune (and you have made that quite clear), you don't, but no need to give these pseudo-psychological explanations for those who might find the song capturing, my friend...
But "Let Me Down Slow" ????!!!

But but... isn't that what you always do with songs I dig, and you don't?

DandelionPowderman, I believe you tapped into it when you said "nostalgia". I'm inclined to believe you're right and that's the reason I love PMS so much, because it does in fact sound classic Stones. Add MT to the picture and you have an out of control fire for some of us, that's me Btw I also love Let Me Down Slow, it's one of my ABB favorites. But again with that record I wish they wouldn't of over produced it, brickwalled it and put too many tracks. It could have been epic if they focused on ten songs and did them right. That's my opinion for what it's worth.

Easily the best track they released since Taylor left the band.
