Drew Brees is in better shape this year. Saints are... too early to say yet.

Looks like the weak teams from the past years are looking to run for the playoffs. Look for Miami and Buffalo to do good. teams like Pittsburgh and KC will end on the bottom.

CJ Spiller has always been underrated. He will give The Saints a spark.

This is heartbreaking news for an individual who was a 4.0 student and gives it all. My prayers go to the Johnson family.

You make it sound like he died. Why so over the top about a concussion?

I hope someone else starts an NFL 2015 thread. No reason to post that.

What is it with prayers for football players. What a joke.

I was hoping the members of IORR who like American football were starting a fantasy league. I'd go for that.

I wouldn't be surprised if a Seahawk gets hurt this year seeing that they got a fantastic no-blocking TE now.

Sounds like fun.

If you can locate a "salary cap league" I will play. I dont like the draft league games.

Last year ESPN had a fun salary cap game where everyone could pick any player each week as long as they didnt go over the salary cap, which prevented people from only picking the top players, everyone had to have a couple of (potential) dogs. It was a fun way to keep track of current events and upcoming players.

I have been looking, but I do not see any (play for free) salary cap leagues out there.

Seems to me that it is more a 'downer' for the player, than for the team.

And what do his grades have to do with anything?

Cleveland other than being host of HOF Rock and Roll, they reallly have serious footbal issues.

I cannot get out of mind when they should have won the Superbowl against Denver - It equates to when Tenn lost to the Rams

Although the Jets have some internal Anger Management isuues - I see this as a very competitive team. I'm not a Jets fan but one cannot deny a veteran defensive unit at most positions.

hopefully that defense is ready by week 2. they have some injuries and a critical 4 game suspension. they can survive week 1 without everyone but week 2 against the colts they need all elligible players out there

Denver and Cleveland SuperBowl? 1. Cleveland has never been to a superbowl 2. they could never play Denver in the Superbowl they are in the same Conference.

Doubt my Bears will make the playoffs this year. Locally, alot of people in Vancouver and the lower mainland will be cheering for the Seahawks.
