On the copy I have the first song is called Just Before, not Just Because. U Don't Wanna sounds like it might be an early take of Driving Too Fast...Cried Out sounds like possibly an early take of, Laugh, I Nearly Died to me.
Sorry Mr.D, may you confirm that "Just Because" or 'Just Before' is early version of KR's 'Trouble'?
Both, Just Before is the all music part of Because, most of Because is the band deciding what key and beat and everything to play the song in, real "fly on the wall" stuff!

These were on the tape my late Manager had from the '02 sessions:
Just Because
Dreams
Cried Out
Because? (a second take of Just Because)
Love is a Test
When I Call Your Name
U Don't Wanna
Don't Stop
Keys to Your Love
These are all MJ lead guide vocals.

Putting this list of titles next to the already known list there is LOVE IS FOR ME (a cover The Meters song) and LOVE IS A TEST.
Could it be this is the same song? I listened to LOVE IS FOR ME by The Meters on YouTube tonight and it's a slow soulfull number.

Was that the one mentioned by Dominique Tarlé after he attended the 2002 sessions?
I don't know where the info on Saber producing sessions came from but it makes sense as that's a lot of songs (and we need to add SMH and LMT) for just a three week session with Don Was in Paris. Especially since they were shooting for two songs originally as announced at the Blimp PC, and Keith made it sound like they had nothing at the time ("only a small problem").
Don't really understand the rationale behind these sessions, a way to prove to themselves they were not an oldies band touring behind a compilation? Fast forward 10 years and they certainly have no qualms about that anymore!

Teddy has stated more than once he heard them, he doesn't have a copy of the tape.
From another perspective, there are fans who get to hear tracks that do not circulate. If they share it, they're cut out of the inner circle. The same way that if you hear inside information and share it publicly, your insider friend suddenly doesn't respond to you. Let's be grateful for the information we do have.

These sessions do fascinate me somewhat. I cannot help but wonder what else they toyed with during the Doom and Gloom/One More Shot recording period.
