Really looking forward to seeing the premier, we like HBO/ Showtime series over here, some are quality stuff/ highly entertaining/ we follow them thru.

Fantastic cast on this, producers, and a young Jagger? Alright!

Actually looks pretty entertaining. Watching that trailer I would have thought Quentin Tarantino was involved....

I'm really psyched for this. Jagger's been developing this for ages and who better than Scorcese to do a gritty 70's NYC period piece.
Bring it on.

Interesting. What kind of music genre are they basing this on? When I think NY 70s, I'm thinking punk,
When I think Rock and roll in it's crazy, excessive prime, I think LA early-mid 70s.

well "personality crisis" is from '73.... i guess it will follow the evolution of the 70s music scene in NYC

Yeah, I may be making the mistake of assuming this is semi-autobiographical for Mick, but maybe not so much.

James Jagger is part of the cast. He plays Kip Stevens, lead singer of punk band Nasty Bits.

Here he is "borrowing" a guitar from a NYC music shop.

Anyone else love that their way (at least in this promo) to represent the show and the "70s" is to use Jagger wannabe David Johansen lol? And I say that lovingly as I think the New York Dolls are great. But the comparison is rather obvious and even funnier that of all the groups they could have used, they go with them in Jagger's project.

... Huh? The visible license plate isn't reversed,
so what is it about the cars that spells "must be" to someone??
I must be missing some seventh level of humour here, right?
And/Or y'all are just checking whether we're paying attention

This looks really fun, based on the trailer and the faux Dolls look pretty accurate, as you would expect from Scorsese. Certainly looks better than the CBGB's movie.

saw the full length preview finally. it definitely had the scorcese feel, which i love.

there have been very few attempts to cinematically recreate pivotal moments in rock music. i thought that the recent brian wilson was a pretty good effort. but no one has done the beatles, dylan, or hendrix the way that say ray charles or james brown have been done recently (i.e., very well.)

so i'm excited.

This looks intriguing, and the clips of James are rather striking regarding a certain resemblance, both on stage and otherwise. My goodness.

Seems a bit of melodramatic and alot of overacting...is this supposed to be like a soap opera?
