No, they'll be back here in the U.S. in the fall to play more shows, you know they won't quit until Mick, Keith or Charlie die!smiling smiley

As has been stated many times, any show, particularly one at the end of a tour, could be the final performance.

In no way would Canada be 'a fitting place', but if it turns out to be the final show, then so be it.

'Call it a day' suggests an element of planning and I would be surprised if the Stones would plan to end their history of performing live in Canada.

Is there anything that informs your 'strange eerie feeling'?

.....

Olly.

Not a chance unless an unforseen event happens, I bet there will be some shows in London at least before the end of the year.

From the 'EXHIBITIONISM' announcement [www.rollingstones.com] :

"It is planned that following the London exhibition EXHIBITIONISM will visit eleven other global Cities around the world over a four year period."

I think they will play at least one Show in each City, depending from the demand more Shows.

The Stones are rolling at least until 2020 ....

I hope they play some shows in the smaller theaters they love to play in.

Maybe, but I don't think so. I guess South America is next on the list followed by Europe next year.

Or is that wishful thinking? "I want it so it will happen". It's rife around here.

You think they will play at least one show in each city? Where exactly is this confirmed as fact? And yet you emphatically say it is not (the end). More wishful thinking. It's an epidemic.

The ongoing question... they just had to do that stupid song.

Maybe it won't be up to the Stones to decide. Maybe nature or life or time will do it. Someone will fall down and get hurt or have a health issue that prevents them from doing something and then that is it. Where they last played remains.

Going out in a blaze of glory and all that nonsense? Nah. Some people talk about that stuff as if it's some sort of permanent thing.

A big climax would be too emotional for all concerned. Just slip quietly out the door.

cant see canada being the last time unless some event transpires to prevent them touring again, this scenario could unfold any time and one day the band will cease to exist, but for the stones to deliberately finish in canada i cant see.

would make more sense for them to finish in london, i think they will continue the way they have been doing since december 2012 with short tours till one of the band members dies.

hope they got some years left.

I will make an update on this the day after tomorrow. First I want this tour to end tomorrow, then the update. One thing at a time.
