I knew that would happen as we had a similar thread recently. "Do You Think I Really Care?" is an actual Rolling Stones Country Song and can be found on the Some Girls Reluxe Delease disc #2.
You might know it under the working title "Yellowcab (stick that umbrella up your ass baby)" Said other thread got inflated until everything was considered Country smoking smiley

High And Dry
Dear Doctor
No Expectations
Factory Girl
Country Honk
Let It Bleed
Wild Horses (sort of)
Torn And Frayed
Till The Next Goodbye
Through The Lonely Nights
No Spare Parts
We Had It All (cover)
You Win Again (cover)
Indian Girl (sort of)
Blinded By Love
The Worst
Always Suffering

Well, the same reason a lot of AC/DC songs aren't blues songs even though, well, what you said!

In terms of the instrumentation, yes, but country is more than the melody or sound of the recording. It's lyrical and cultural.

It's most of all a music form.

Surprised no-one's mentioned Love In Vain yet?

Love in Vain is an old Robert Johnson blues that Keith countrified via his guitarplaying and arrangement.
