The improvement of the video is not important to me, it was already pretty good, but the audio improvement is.

Still a pity Jagger is talking through the I'm Free solo, and as others have said already: the whole gig has to be on CD in the same audio quality as what we've heard here!

Man, they have to release the audio of the whole gig on the CD, but I'm not too optimistic. The whole gig (with complete intro/outro and all the onstage talk by Mick Jagger) does not fit on one CD and the listings for the new vault release only mention DVD/BR plus one CD. So I guess the CD will just be the actual soundtrack of the film, but I still hope they've edited out some of the pauses between the songs and the intro/outro and thus manage to fit the whole show on one CD. Wishfull thinking, I guess.

These sound wonderful! Can't wait for this now. It's raining Stones, just the way I like it.

Agreed. And if they had the complete (or better) audio, why use the one with overdubbed documentary speech again?

The omission is unforgivable. No reason it couldn't have been in a sub menu as a bonus or something.

I'm glad they are NOT releasing this on cd.
The guitars are out of tune and the playing is questionable.
It works best as a multi-media experience with sound and picture.
The Hyde Park gig is first and foremost a historical gig and is remembered for being the first time they were on stage in 3 years. Musically, it's not very good.

I'm afraid you're right, Blueranger. I suppose they release it because it is historic, but there's probably tons of stuff in the vaults we'd rather hear.

Still, if there's a cd and it includes the whole gig with Stray Cat Blues, Mercy Mercy and No Expectations, I'm looking forward to listen to it, at least once.

This release is absolutely dispensible. Nothing but an inferno of mistuned guitars and missed entries... This gig has nothing to do with music.

A great, great show albeit not at their best...it was a great warm up for the 69 tour and foreshadowed what was to become their sound for the next 5 years...

It was especially Keith's guitar that was out of tune all the time, not Taylor's. Remember that Taylor just had toured with John Mayall, and was used to play live, while for Keith it was more than two years ago.

If this new release from Hyde Park has a stereo soundtrack, I really hope it will be put out on cd (or vinyl) too. The audio is newly mixed (stereo). I really hope that.

I'd be happy with an iTunes movie download. The vaults movies have mostly been available on iTunes (which can easily be ripped to AAC or MP3).

I just used a VPN set for USA, and can now watch/listen to the Satisfaction and I'm Free videos on YouTube. (Americans will confirm they can watch these no problem).

Wow, stereo sound - after all these years!

Despite it's criticisms, out of tune guitars, some of this concert is pretty good - eg. Midnight Rambler and HTW, which are not out of tune at all and are pretty amazing. Especially Rambler, being the fist public performance of this tune.

So perhaps the release is USA only, but I'd guess not, surely it will be worldwide - but I'd like an iTunes download ideally.

24-bit audio - sounds great! Maybe the best reason to get this one again.

Since it was recorded in 1969, audio rights are probably controlled by Abkco, which would explain no CD.

Did anyone see/buy the DVD ? Today is the date of the release.
