Hard To Make A Stand - Keith?

My wife was playing her Sheryl Crow CD's the other night and when I heard "Hard To Make A Stand" I exclaimed that the lead sounded suspiciously like Keith, I don't see any credit other than the co-writer RSBryan, however I do remember Keith and Ronnie being quite enamoured of Sheryl around the time of Voodoo and Bridges, any info out there

...and what about the mysterious BTB outtake called 'High or Low' recorded with Sheryl?

"High or Low" from Rolling Stones album 'Bridge to Babylon' sessions. Sheryl Crow spoke to Rolling Stone Magazine about the song saying Keith played her the Stones outtake in her limo and she thought IT WAS THE BEST THING they'd done in years and couldn't understand why it wasn't released. She claimed that she was recording it for her next album with Keith guesting on guitar.
