Not a dumb question at all... Weren't Tokyo tickets available only to people with a Japanese address?

That is the real reason I asked. I thought I heard something like that.

So you can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes...

Same to Brazil, it is pure buraucrazy - thanks godnees Europe is more flexible.

Now we have a posible tour in South America in October/November, according to the Argentinean producer Daniel Grinbank (the same guy of the previous tours here in 1995, 1998 and 2006) the Stones are expected to play in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia and PerĂº in October/November and most important: THIS TOUR ENDS THIS YEAR, the band will not play in 2015 because their crew is going on tour with U2 and AC/DC next year.

Does anybody have any information about the Golden Circle in Werchter?
What about the design of last year's festival?

European Tour begins in Oslo May 26 and ends in Roskilde on July 3, then Mick will be on the semifinals and finals of the world cup in Brazil, then 2 months off and a posible tour in South America in October/November.

Do you think there's possibility they will play both Rome and Milano?
BV says Milano, italian press are almost confirming Rome.

So Rome is more likely on June 22nd. Damn, I wanted Milano. Hope they'll announnce German dates at the same time as Rome concert so I can decide where to go.

Is there a source for the Oslo date on the 26 May? Or just speculation? Damn I need that Stockholm date. I have booked a Dylan show in Dublin in June. Would be just my luck if it turns out that I am in Dublin when Stones rolls in to Stockholm!

If they start the tour on the 26:th and do two shows a week I only count to eleven shows.

Rome seems is winning the italian date. I am sure that milano is better for the Stones, I still believe that most of r'n'r' fans in Italy leave in the North, Lombardia, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna area
For what I saw, most of the italian Iorrians here are form the north too....
anyway.... let's go to Rome!

Milan is better than Rome but Circus Maximus would be an exciting venue.

Not as good as the Olympic Stadiums in Berlin or Munich I would say, but it's okay.

By the way: I still won't believe that they are playing the stadiums in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich until I see it on the official announcement.

Now that would be a teasing option - with my dedicated interest on Ancient Rome, and being a fan of city of Rome, who am I to resist that... at least giving me a great excuse to visit Rome again...

I think there isn't and there was never a bid between Milan & Rome.
The only italian promoter interested in this "4,5 million - high risk operation" always been "D'alessandro & Galli".
Live Nation international after O2 arena in 2012 decided to close his collaboration. Probably they think "too little profit vs high financial risk"

"D'alessandro & Galli" always wanted Circo Massimo but probably there's more than 1 logistical problem.

Personally I think there's an high risk for a 500.000 people concert. 50.000 with a ticket... 450.000 without. I hope I'm wrong but it's not so simple to close Circo Massimo. I think it never happened.

In my opinion San Siro always been their 2nd "luxury" choice if they are not able to solve logistical problems.

you are right OnlyKeef, I always wondered who was the organizer for San Siro concert, because I always red about the interest from D'Alessandro & Galli (about outdoor Lucca or Rome ) and nobody else.
I know that at Circo Massimo can fit almost 1 milion people, so i agree with you, it won't be easy to avoid "logistical" problems

Why not put them on Olympic stadium or hippodrome in Rome?

3 shows a week could be feasible, no?

Get two days for travel/rest in between shows.

Yes, hopefully we will know soon. Regarding Stockholm I am guessing that a show at Friends arena will be stadium-style. The arena takes 50 000 people and the roof opens if they want an outdoor feeling. If they're not going to do an arena show I don't really see any alternative in Stockholm. Stockholm Stadion is too small with its 30 000 capacity and the same goes for the new Tele2 arena. I do still hope they'll do an arena show in Stockholm and anywhere but Friends arena, which is a dreadful place with a dreadful sound.

Very fast (less then one hour), cause there are only 30.000 weekend tickets available. There will be a lot of people who want to see AND the Stones on saturday AND Metallica (or some other band) on sunday or monday, i think.
Also for each day there are 30.000 daytickets available. If you only want to see the Stones OR Metallica, you'll go for a dayticket on that specific day. When those specific daytickets are sold out, people will go for a weekend ticket. Then they can see their favourite band and they take the rest of the weekend for "granted" (well, actually for 80euro's more).
Also, there are a lot of people who go every year for a whole weekend, no matter who is on the billboard anyway.

Any rumours/sources about a 'new' date for Paris?
If they play San Siro on June 14th,
I guess Stade de France on June 13th is out of the question.
