Going against the grain here, imo at this stage of their carrer more than before The Stones are publicity whores, who enjoy the attention of the press,it helps them to sell tickets, which btw are not selling that well for this leg of the tour, tickets are easily available for all the upcoming shows,IF they wanted to rehearse in private there are many more locations that would remain private...jus sayin....winking smiley

Getting out of the hotel
Ronnie was very nice as usual. He took his time to sign autographs.

Chuck Leavell

Bobby Keys signed autographs, too.

Lisa Fisher was enthusiastic and full of energy.

Mick Taylor has been waiting during several minutes behind the front door. He has been standing doing nothing: no autographs, no smile, just nothing!

Who’s the guy on the right side of Taylor?

His arms definitely folded… No friendly sign.

I was going to write something snarky like:

"Mick T. reacts to the news that The Stones only plan on using him for one or two songs a night during the upcoming shows."

But I won't.

Sometimes i don't realize how lucky I am. I mean, I always complain about setlist, i'd like to listen never played songs like down in the hole etc etc.... But at the end of all, the stones Are giving me emotions since 1978 - i was 12 years old- and I am lucky that i Will see them again in Macau and hopefully in europe, 32 after the 1st time I saw them in Torino in 1982. The night
Italy won the world cup. Incredible. I was 16 years old.. I saw them around 20 more times after Torino ..all around europe.. How many emotions.. Thanks guys! Now i have a son, 9 years old , i have changed, but the stones still Are one of the reasons why I think my life has been worth to lived. I am a lucky man

Me too!

I was about to go to Paris last monday, but I've changed my mind at the last minute. It would be nice to hear the rehearsals with the IORR fellows, but I thought it would be better to save the money to (hopefully) see them live in Europe than to give a shot in the dark this time, but this is just because I live in Brazil. If I lived in Europe, I would certainly would take the chance. smiling smiley

I've been fortunate enough to meet them all at a rehearsal in Toronto back in 2002 and they were all very gracious. Okay, Mick was a little aloof, but he let me hang out on the couch next to his music stand for the duration of that rehearsal, so even though he didn't chat, he was pretty damn cool for allowing me to sit there.

I could listen to Dead Flowers from the 71 TV special on continuous repeat.

In San Jose, CA on the last tour. MT was in the pit watching John Fogerty. I went up to him and gave him a big hug and thanked him for all he has done for the Stones. Seemed like a good guy just a little nervous maybe.

Thanks again for anyone keeping us informed!

"Till The Next Goodbye"... brilliant! I wouln't mind at all if it will get with "Silver Train" a 'Emotional Rescue' treatment, to be played (almost) every show... Well, I'd be happy if they would those tunes at laest ones.

Taylor in "Shine A Light" and "Dead Flowers"... wow!

Have a great time there people, try to cope with the weather and the paparazzi...thumbs up

Maybe Taylor is ill or something...
But they look all great!!
14 On Fire will be on fire for sure!
detoxing with downtime can be a bitch. And his huge weight loss is due to a lifestyle change. Throw in he's on the verge of a strenous tour with more responsiblities with the band I figure he's jonesin pretty bad. Breaking addiction can be super stressful on the body. I've seen that look before. Give 'em a break. He was cool when I met him at the Coachhouse. And he'll burn up the stage this go around.

Taylor is a bit of a grouch towards fans by all accounts, a mate of mine went to see him play a few years before the Stones re-discovered him and he refused to even have a quick chat with the few fans who paid. Just scowled and told them to f**** off.

It´s not a part of the deal to get a meet and greet with the artist everytime you pay to see a concert? That´s for him to decide smiling smiley
