OT: Steve Miller Band founding member Lonnie Turner dead

Sad news. Steve Miller Band bass player Lonnie Turner has died. Lonnie helped shape the sound of the amazing early Steve Miller Band albums including the masterpiece Sailor. RIP Lonnie.

wikipedia entry says he died April 28.

he played on Space Cowboy...also on Fly Like An Eagle

LT'S Midnight Dream, MASSIVE song, I think I can count 4 12-strings, 2 of them playing slide, still have the vinyl, I had to buy it for this one track. Sad loss, my childhood is dying
