$850 tickets+ bad ecnomy + 70 yr old dudes= maybe a few more shows and they hang it up.

They didn't do all this work for five shows.

I heard Coachilla as a rumor,and have heard Wrigley Field, both from Non Stones connections to both places, so at least some promoter or the band is snooping around I would guess.

I have more than one connection to the Coachella people. Unless there's some sort of last-minute surprise, they aren't playing there, I assure you.

I can't see them doing more than 20 shows or such : LA, Chicago, Miami, Texas, St Louis, Vancouver, Toronto for North America, one or two in Latin America (Mexico, Buenos Aires, Rio ?), Tokyo and Shanghai, Sydney maybe, then Europe with Paris, Barcelona, Rome/Milan, Munich, Amsterdam, Moscow. But not more.

And I can see them very well cashing the money in after Newark 2 and retire. Though they might never announce they retire.

Yeah, big markets in 2013 and some stadium shows in Europe in the summer.

Right now I believe they will because the 2 London shows in november went very well. I think most of the fans have been agreeably surprised by their performances(not mentionning the tix prices). The Stones themselves I guess had a good time on stage so why not keep on going in 2013, true year of their anniversary with Charlie in the band.

I would expect them to do more shows but I think they would announce a couple of shows in a month and then a few weeks later another couple of shows. I don't think they want to commit to any thing long term. So may be 2 shows in LA and 4 weeks later they say 2 shows in Tokyo etc.

Of course happy if they announce a full blown tour and not surprised if they do nothing.

Hasn't it been the case since 1981? Since 1989 for sure. In their defense their tours of the 70s barely broke even...
