dare I say it, but Keith looks totally revitalised by all this band stuff. maybe the gigs will be great and a tour will roll out after. it seems promising.

Just got in from watching them on the red carpet in Leister Square.

Mick & Charlie left 15 minutes after the film started, leaving in 2 waiting cars grinning smiley Obviously Charlie couldn't stand watching himself and Mick's probably seen it all in the editing room. Keith, Ronnie & Bill stayed though, the bands biggest fans.

Ah, so it's as if this film could just as easily have been made in 1982 then. What are we to make of this in terms of the Stones' own perspective on their career? They are certainly roguishly proud of what they had accomplished in their first 20 years. But it appears that Crossfire Hurricane is like any one of their concert setlists--lots of time spent on the early years and barely a nod to what they have done since then.

So, the 50 years of Rolling Stones can be summed up thusly: 20 years creating the legacy, 30 years merely celebrating that legacy.

So wasn't that the movie for which they were doing interviews earlier this year and even had some rehearsals recorded? Looks like they didn't use any of it.

Hard to believe there's zilch after 1981 !

Wouldn't surprise me if that footage will feature on the inevitable deluxe version.

Quite unrelated but interesting is this keith interview from the red carpet, he seems certain that Wyman and Taylor will both join them for the London shows (last minute of interview)

I really enjoyed but the last 30 years aren't covered at all, not even a reference to Bill leaving.

A couple of pictures from inside the cinema during the introduction to the screening, the first picture includes the director of the film...

Will take a look through the others tomorrow to see if they are worth posting.

Very interesting, but NO, Keith was referring to the stage at the movie premier yesterday. However, it's great that Wyman and MT were there; and I am hoping they are on stage at the O2, even if just for a couple songs.

Mick is looking pretty good.

What the hell was that picture the other day then when he looked like an extra from a horror movie?

That was his true self since he made the descision to allow us to be charged £400 to watch him doing warhorses by numbers for 2 hrs spilling out................
