Stones needs new younger generations....Gorilla is for under 5 years old children.

..too bad those 5 year olds can't afford the super-duper extra special limited edition signed versions of the gorilla......oh wait, neither can I......

As goofy as it is, Sucking In The 70s is still way cooler on a t-shirt than some stupid gorilla ever will be:

Of course, here is excellent one, an edition with the original tongue:

Never saw this one. Very cool indeed:

I don't see any kid buying GRRR-CDs or -boxes.

They will download some files, perhaps.
And they will wear some GRRR-Ts, too.

But there will still be CDs and boxes under the christmas trees, as gifts, surely.

And now I got a picture at my inner eye:

GRRR-Boxes, kids and parents wearing GRRR-Ts,
all together under the GRRRistmas tree ...

Who can picture this?
With fotoshop, perhaps ...?

Please, post it .... grinning smiley

Is this the European release? I've seen it before, I think on EBAY. I'm fairly sure the North American version only had the much larger tongue sticker across the entire front of the album.

Yes.

And different back and inner sleeves, too.

Don't belittle gorillas. They are very intelligent animals; some of them very good at arithmetics. I think the choice of a gorilla on the cover of Grrr! was very congenial and showed a touch of class. By the way, I think the Stones should hire real gorillas as their bodyguards on this tour (if there is one...). I tell you: You don't mess with a gorilla! Here is a picture of a Gorilla gorilla gorilla (Western Gorilla), a silverback male:

What is the reason that they announced the release of a Big Hit album 2 months before the release date?

I like the cover. Wish they'd make a video game out of it.

Interesting. Must be an early tracklist.

Side 1

Everything is turning to gold
Hot stuff
Time waits for no one
Fool to cry

Side 2

Shattered
If I was a dancer
Happy
Beast of burden

Now you're talking an album cover that makes a goofy title great--makes it come alive. Full of character, if not depth. Very Stonesey! Thumbs up! Call the Stones marketing department, there's still time...
