No: I do think Eric Burdon attended Hendrix's last ever concert.

By the way Fehmarn 1970 was not Hendrix's last concert.

Hendrix's last concert was on 16th September 1970 at Ronnie Scott's Club - featuring Eric Burdon with War.

His Majesty is right : Jimi played two songs with Burdon's band on September 16th. But it's not considered as a real show (as he did at Fehmarn with Mitch and Billy).

Won't solve anything but my two cents say that although a concert is a performance, a performance isn't always a concert.

Jimi sitting in & jamming at an Eric Burdon concert doesn't make it a Jimi Hendrix concert.

It does, I think what they're saying is that Hendrix getting up on stage with another band isn't considered a "Jimi Hendrix Concert". In much the same way that Keith getting up on stage with Johnny Depp and his band isn't a "Keith Richards Concert".

But since concert = performance then Hendrix's last concert (Fehmarn) would also be his last performance. This is incorrect.

You're right ! A concert of Jimi Hendrix is with his own band (The Experience or Band of Gypsys). A jam is not an official concert, it's a jam ! Jimi did so many jams after his official shows...

My thought is who CARES if Mr. Bowie is in the audience? I mean c'mon, Jimi Hendrix is playing. The show is on stage my friends, watch and listen to the voodoo child or you may miss the whole damn point. Bowie was cool for a couple decades but compared to Hendrix he doesn't stand up to the drool on the side of Jimi's mouth. peace

Ronnie Wood was with Jimi and his girlfriend at Ronnie Scott's
on that Sept. 16th. Jimi and his girl left the club before Ronnie.
