I'll wait till you can buy it for 10€ or less if it's true that there is only one picture in it of Mick Taylor.

Hah of course and Taylor only has one facial expression so only one photo is needed.

There isn't gonna be a damned thing in this book that I, or most of the people here, don't already know. Look at the last few oversized and over priced books they've put out. All variations of the same thing.

That's a piece of Rolling Stones history, a piece of the puzzle.

Before the internet came along Stones books were interesting to read / look at, and there weren't many of them around. It was rare to find one in a local book store. Now we have the internet then there's loads of pictures and knowledge to be shared (on boards like IORR) so as mentioned above there's very little that we don't already know.

What we know is quite imperfect and I think there's a whole lot we don't know, but due to various reasons like fading memories and people not wanting to share things it's stuff we are most likley never going to hear or read about.

That's the problem with message boards. Some of us THINK we know everything there is and that we've seen and heard everything there is. I have a feeling this book will share with us new and exciting images.

Fair enough but I still think we know vastly more now than we did pre-internet. In the 80s, I only had Roy Carr's Rolled Gold sleeve notes and the odd book to go by, in a sense the Stones magic was stronger then because I knew less and the rest was left to my imagination. I don't know if this was a good or bad thing. Now the internet has swept this all away and the sum of all our knowledge, youtube Stones clips and all, is available to all fans and somehow being a fan is not the same anymore (or perhaps I've grown older and I'm less of a fan than I was back then).
