With all due respect, credit for this topic MUST go directly to crholmstrom and the brilliant post in another thread.

What a horrible band. I saw them on the Grand Illusion tour with Thin Lizzy opening. Thin Lizzy blew them away. I never really listened to Styx after that show. I think Babe must be on the devil's jukebox....

So it's got me thinking...

If 'Babe' by Styx is on the Devil's jukebox
What else is on old Beezlebub's musical box of madness?

I am positive that 'Don't Stop Believin' by Journey is on the Devil's Jukebox.
I've been down there, and this song just keeps on playing and playing since he's seemingly got an endless roll of quarters.

Interesting concept... The Devil's Jukebox... I'm assuming that the concept is for music that would be played in hell for the "guests" as opposed to what the Devil listens to himself.

Assuming actual song content, I'm sure that there will be standards such as "Afternoon Delight", "Escape", and "Arthur's Theme" but, for me personally, I'm thinking there would be a huge playlist containing nothing but songs with audible use of "AutoTune". As bad as that would be, my biggest fear would be a nonstop, endless loop of the ringing sound of "Tinnitus". Either that or absolute silence. Those last two scenarios would be about as bad as it could get for me.

Peace,
Mr DJA

The epitome of sucking in the 70s.

Thanks Kurt. I've had this concept for years. What would Satan make you listen to for all eternity? This was the original nominee & has to be close to the top of the list:

The 50s were pretty fertile territory too - I'll pick that Max Bygraves song about the Pink ToothBrush and the Blue Toothbrush.

In Hades, you'd be made listen to Back to Zero and Winning Ugly on repeat. Also throw in Wiggle Wiggle by Bob Dylan.

Back to Zero and Winning Ugly on repeat! I'm heading off to confession right and changing my ways as of this moment. Repent yee sinners, repent!

I've got to admit, Wiggle Wiggle in concert wasn't too bad an experience from Dylan, but to open Under The Red Sky was disconcerting to say the least.
