You're Interviewing Keith: What 3 Questions Would You Ask?

Keith is doing PR for Cross-Eyed Heart right now. Imagine you could interview him and you're told nothing is off limits. What 3 questions would you put to him?

Question 1. Your previous "solo" albums were, for the most part, nothing special and "Trouble" is far from outstanding. Why should anyone buy the new album?

No further questions, m'lud.

1. What was your favourite Stones tour?

2. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

3. What would the last 30 years have looked like if Stu had lived?

1. Despite their similarity, why did you put "Running Too Deep" and "Will But You Won't" on the same album, one after the other?

2. Are there any bands that started in the 80's, or later that you really like, and why? Likewise, any new "music styles" that inspired you?

3. What do you think of Captain Beefheart, what of PIL, what of Nick Cave, and what is your favourite album by Tom Waits?

(I know that technically these are more than 3 questions, but - hell - his answer would probably be the similar to most of them).

1. Are there any records that you have heard and wished that you had been able or asked to play on?

2. Part 1: What is your favorite song that your audience didn't like and Part 2: What is your least favorite song that your audience DID like.

3. Similar (the same?) to John Lomax's #3 above. How would the last 30 years have played out if Stu had lived.

Peace,
Mr DJA

Only 3 questions are allowed to be asked to Mr. Richards.

Hailing from the same county as Keith (Kent), I would solely ask him questions relating to the area. Perhaps, I would also enjoy a chat about old England in general.

Do he and Mick ever socialize or talk to each other outside of Stones business.

What kind of album does he hope to do with the Stones.

Finally, I'd ask him to tell me about his children and grandchildren because I think he would like that and I genuinely would like to know.

1. Is there any likelihood of deluxe editions of the Stones 1960's Decca catalogue before 2020 - i'll do it for free if you want.

2. Have you ever asked Bill to play you the 1964 Radio Luxembourg acetate he has, it looks like a killer set and deserves release along with Mick's Crawdaddy Club Reel to Reel esp. as it probably features the band with Stu and Brian in great shape.

3. Any chance you can get me a print out of ABKCO and Decca's tape holdings so i can start work on that deluxe Decca series for you on Monday ?

I always like to know what Keith has been listening to lately

I would not have come across people like Derrick Harriot without that sort of question.

I would only ask music questions.

"other than the screen names you yourself use to post on IORR, which character on IORR is your favorite"

who's to say he isn't the mastermind behind some of us? some people on here believe mick taylor regularly talks to them on Facebook after all..

Just thought of a couple more:

1. Did you actually contribute anything to the recording of Moonlight Mile? and if not, why are you suddenly credited on guitar on the SF deluxe re-issue?

2. When is the last time you actually talked to Mick Taylor in person or on the phone?

If you think Black Sabbath are a joke do you think ACDC are much better, and if so, why?
If you were a teen today, do you think you'd be as heavily influenced by Rap 'music' as you were Blues music in the late '50's/early '60's?
What are your thoughts on some Metal bands integrating rap into their repertoire. cool smiley
