Well done, old boy. Got to get the palate up to speed for the 3 day tasting session at Ne'erday. It's Glenkinchie month at the Lismore. Slips over rather easily.

I'm with you gomp! Knob Creek is great. Especially the 9yr old stuff. Ever tried Woodford Reserve? As good if not better but pricey here in Canada anyway. I hear bourbon is cheapewr across the line. Going to have to take a trip and find out for myself I quess?

Jefferson's is damn fine bourbon. For scotch, I like the Glenmorangie aged in port or sherry casks.

Caperdonich - A rare Lower Spey Valley malt. Slightly smoky but smooth. Also try Dalluanie.

How much of whiskey, scotch or bourbon do you drink per week? For me ,by myself a 75cl of bourbon last for 20 days. What is the most you have drinken in one "session". The most I have done is a bottle of Ballantine's shared with a buddy in one evening (7 hours).
Rock and roll,
Mops

Last night I had some Tullamore Dew, it was too much. Currently I am recovering. There is a Pogues song called "Whiskey you're the devil". At times it is necessary to meet the devil

Malt of the month in my local pub is Bendromach, a 10 year old Speyside single malt. Very nice it is too.
