By the way, critical biography of Rumiko Hoshika will come out next week.
She was a former managing editor of Music Life Magazine.
A Journalist who was nearest to the Beatles--Rumiko's Music Life
Rumiko's Music Life
Kimono girl with the Beatles on the front cover of this book is Rumiko.
She was the one who gave presents of traditional Japanese musical instruments (sho, tsuzumi, shamisen & shinobue etc.) and back issues of Music Life for the Stones in Jamaica.
I look forward to rare photos.

Thanks to Toru A, I learned about this magazine yesterday.
Does anyone know anything about it...how many years was it published? who published it? whether an archives exists? whether it was fluff/pulp/teenaged or more substantive? is it indexed/cataloged anywhere?

I bought these occasionally in the 70's when I was a kid in Hong Kong. Couldnt understand a word of the Japanese but the pictures were fantastic, the magazine was typical Japanese obsessive stuff about 10 cm thick with glossy paper. I think it was still going in the eighties I seem to remember they had a big goth thing going on then.

Music Life was published by Shinko Music Entertainment.
It was started to publish in 1951 and finished in 1998.
As humanfiff noted, quality of pictures and papers was fantastic.
It's going to be revived as the web magazine in this year.

- The one with Lennon/Clapton is the one I was looking for.
- I did'nt know the cover from 1973! Can you post a larger scan please?
- the one from 1973 is titles MUSIC LIFE 1966-1972 and has Mick with a cap singing live.

I made a mistake about the date of Music Life issue 1966-1972 :it seems to have been release in 1972 (and not 1973 as I've wtritten): I have a bad scan that I can send you to help in your research!
Good news if you have a project about front-covers magazine & daily papers (I have 6500 entries) and it were great if every one can help & post what he owns!
I'm ready to work hard on this kind of project! (we already began with Pascal!)
