Ya-Ya's Correct Running Order

I suppose that many of you have listened to GYYO with the songs in correct order, i.e., with "Sympathy.." as the 3rd song (after "Carol"). It does make for a different dynamic, in my opinion, and adds some "oomph" to side one.

I did this in the hopes that the reissue will contain the entire 15-song show, in correct setlist order.

Eh, as nice as that would be, I doubt it. It's sort of, heh heh, set in stone.

Actually, I think that Sympathy better suits after Midnight Rambler. I think they should've done it in this order live. Playing it as a 3rd song is too early for me. However, I think that the only reason they moved Sympathy on Ya-Ya's was due to the lenght of vinyl. With it on the B-side, both sides were more balanced lenghtwise.

You could be right(that was always a consideration with song lineups in the vinyl days-had to break it into the 20-24 min range or start losing highs and lows?) but "Sympathy" IS a damn strong side B opener!

In the Ya Ya's reissue, I wonder if we will get the complete "Sympathy"?
