It must be, umm, lots and lots of years since I've listened to a new release from anyone, over and again like this. Seems to be very Exile, that wasn't an instant love for me but it grew slowly and has stayed a constant in my life ever since.

Before the criticism thread starts up, this is great and I can't wait to hear more from the new old songs. Or are they old new songs?

Just fixed mine, altho I lost the connection the signal was buffered so I just deleted the silence, seamless. It's on high rotation at the vox household, on headphones as Mrs vox has just gone to bed & she's not a Stones fan unfortunately

its on again right now!

I'm listening it again and again - and it is just getting better....I'm getting REALLY hooked...

Structurally and ideally it is flying somehere there between "Don't Stop" and "Happy" but it just sounds so original and fresh... and I can not resist that beuatiful chaotic SOUND of the mess of the drums, the open G guitar, the solo guitar icing the cake, the bass, the piano, even the vocals sound so powerfull and sharky, all those wonderful little elements... This is the band I love! And THIS NEEDS TO BE LISTEN LLOOOOOUUUUUDDDDD!!!!!!!!

The best Stones song since.... "Bitter Sweet Symphony" actually...

really impressive, an interesting and intriguing mix of new and old stones. the song definitely has some of the dna of tumblin' dice but the main riff i swear sounds like that extended vamp riff keith plays on under my thumb during gimme shelter when all hell's (or hell's angels) are breaking loose. you can really hear the nuances of plundered with headphones. there does seem to be a couple different lead vocal tracks. there's an even some old fashioned mick vocal slurring, too bad no keith backing vox though-that really would've made the track complete. but on first listen it whets the appetite for what is come in the (beggar's?) banquet of Exile material arriving soon. Was actually managed not to screw this up. Seeing Mick put so much time into this project (and it obviously is his baby) means either we're in for one helluva a future Stones album of new material or this is the template for all further Stones releases. Also, Mick Taylor really adds some nice licks to the track. It's great to hear the Stones sounding less contrived and self conscious sounding, just playing in that loose groove they used master all the time, which they seemed to have lost sometime in the early 80s. I could do without Mick's over rhyming style of lyric writing and over enunciation in parts of the vocals but those are minor flaws. I'll make a prediction though, I don't think we've seen the last of Mick Taylor being involved in Stones projects (studio wise more than likely than live however).

Its got a good hook and neat lyrics.

Yes, is 2009 Jagger. A new vocal! And I thinked amazing!

Listen to this track now, i don't think jagger's vocal is to upfront in the mix...I really like the song and Taylor's guitar licks are great!

I'll wait till I can download officially, but I'm curious if anyone would have a go at the lyrics.
