Can all the naysayers form an orderly queue in the complaints department. Thanks you. Doxa is taking the register.....
I will I will
... I think the context should be remembered when the expectations are concerned. We have to remember that we are discussing an out-take from an album that includes things like "Casino Boogie" and "Turd On The Run"... If the song we were expecting here would have been either of those I don't think people were too excited either based from the first listening... And it wasn't
any strong singles album in the first place... Most likely there would not be any "Brown Sugar" or "Jumpin' Jack Flash" to be found suddenly on the vaults.
I think if the song ever will "grow" it would be due its groove and over-all arrangement, placing Jagger's voice it, etc. and the how the "ear" get used to it - how hooked one will get if ever will. Seemingly there is no any 'strong' song there in teh first place I need to admit (but are there in "Turd On The Run" or "Just Wanna See His Face"?).
But reality check! We are talking here some unique and historical stuff here people! It's THE Stones from the days that really counted!!!! I am happy to have wittnessed
this day to come.
