Like Mickjageroo, I'm getting ready to leave for the UK too and just this morning started to get really psyched!

Why you say? I've never seen The Boys in concert and have tickets to Twick 2, Glasgow, and Sheffield and we may very well try to get tickets to Twick 1! I've always been what I'd call a casual listener, but in this, my 40th year, have FINALLY grown to appreciate how truly phenomenal their catalog of music is.

Yes, I know they aren't what they used to be; you can't turn back the hands of time. I've also stopped reading concert reviews, as I found that I was starting to form opinions based on what I was reading and want to reserve them for my first hand experiences.

While I wish I had experiences dating back to '69, or '71, I don't. I have to enjoy those via whatever recorded media is available. What I'll enjoy over the next week or so will be unsoiled by memories of them in their heydays. Maybe that's not such a bad thing. We'll see.

I do think I'll wait until after my second show to start whining about the set list though.

This is going to be an awesome trip!!

Yup. I'm a Stones concert virgin, but I'll be quite "promiscuous" in that regard next week!

I think I'll be leaving the driving to somebody else!

As soon as JJF kicks in, everything else (including the ticket price ;-) is forgotten and you're just floating in space and time...enjoying the MUSIC !!!

To all of you going to twicks, have a brilliant time, enjoy the buzz and tell your grandchildren that you saw the greatest band on earth on their last World Tour in their hometown !!!

whatever show he would pick up (except cancelled ones!) it would blow his mind, but Twickenham's setlist tonight is one big BANG and even if limited to 19 songs and no You can't always get what you want - hell with it ! It's The Rolling Stones ! the greatest thing that could happen in your life!!!!
