Yes, I saw that show last week. Charlie's drumming was really fantastic.

If anyone get's the chance to stand there in a small club and watch him play the drums it's a privelage.

I agree, I saw him at Ronnie Scott's in London a few years ago with his jazz quintet, and it was wonderful music.

I like far fetched....remember Ronnie's gig in London?

The night I saw Charlie at Ronnie Scotts (I think it was 2004), Ronnie and Jo and daughter Leah showed up for the last show at midnight, along with Lizzie Jagger and Sean Lennon as a couple. They sat just 3 tables over from mine. We left them alone, they had a right to see and enjoy the show without being pestered by fans.

I'll be on the Isle of Wight (mutter mutter mumble grumble moan) or I'd be there. Have a good time!

Dunno about guests, but this gig's gonna have a very special MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ... cos I'm gonna be very very very very excited and more to the point - right orf da hairyplane. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!
