Voodoo Lounge!!! I didn't like B2B as much, but No Security was a great rebound... loved it. I'll stick with VL though as my answer because Ronnie was still a force then and wasn't on No Security. Going to smaller venues for the first time in a long time really allowed the Stones to bounce back on No Security.

QuoteBlueranger Surprised by all the hate for the Voodoo Lounge album and tour here. I still regard it at as their best album since Tattoo You. And the live shows were highly regarded as an improvement over the Steel Wheels tour, which I think is true. In my humble opininon, the modern era Stones, were never better as a live band than on the Voodoo tour. Those live recordings from 1995 appeari

Quotemr edward Saying the Crowes are just Stones-Faces copy cats just shows that one hasn´t listened to the Crowes output since 1992. Since then they moved on. Listen to Before The Frost... and the Allman Bros. and The Band come to mind immediately. Great stuff, really worth a spin. With Jacky on board they might try another angle, which I´m really looking forward to. Exactly. If you thi

I love the song and in my pipe dream I was really hoping they'd play it live with Taylor, although I obviously wasn't holding my breath. You have to say that after all those years, decades even, that its pretty amazing the two Mick's could get together again and put out a song that good. It makes you wonder what else they could have done together over all that time. Five years ago, if I said

This is my #2 band, but I am a little disappointed that Luther Dickinson will not be with them. I thought with him was the best version of the Crowes, by far... much more back to their roots- bluesy, back country music with Luther.

Maybe it was to give them each their own spot... give each the spot light and credit they deserve. A thank you just to Bill and a thank you just Mick Taylor... without the other's return taking anything away. Or maybe it was logistics... the actual 2012 Rolling Stones have to play with another guy(s)... maybe it just gets to be to much to change half the band for song, but one guy mixed in...

Taylor and Wyman were just announced now, a couple days before the show. As the NJ shows get closer, is there still a chance we get the same announcement and get to see these two as well? (Or at least Taylor, since Bill might not want to fly) Or do we just miss out here in the States?

Well that sounds like shit if you are going to see the Rolling Stones in the States. Let's see, we can have two Rolling Stones make a guest spot... or two non-Rolling Stones make a guest spot.... hmmmmm...... I think I'd rather have Mick and Bill. Honestly, the possibility of seeing Mick Taylor and/or Bill is the biggest draw for me on these shows, as I have never seen either of them play with

Rolling Stone magazine and other news outlets have reported that Mick Taylor and Bill would be doing a guest spot on these upcoming shows. I have not heard a single word about them rehearsing with the band. Is the Mick Taylor/Bill guest spot simply not going to happen... with even being mentioned again???

It was enjoyable to watch, but for a 50th anniversary... why did they put out a documentary on only their first 20 years! (not even) I think 25x5 was much better and more in depth. What's funny is that 25x5 covered more time in the Stones history than this 50th documentary did!

They have a ton of craft beers on tap, top shelf mixers, and some of the best BBQ in the country. Even though the place is in the northeast, it consistently wins BBQ competions over places in the Carolina's, Texas, etc. Everything they make is exceptional... real smoked ribs and meats, their side dishes, appetizers, desserts, even their pickles! This is one of the best BBQ joints you will eat

I am not sure what I think... at least about their playing. From the gig in France, it looks like Keith is playing better than the end of the last tour. But at the same time, it is definitely slower. It is like he had to slow it down to still be able to play. But this slow motion sound just doesn't sound right. Its weird. Regardless, I have a seat and am looking forward to it.

A friend of mine has an extra single for the Thursday show in section 21, a solid lower level seat... if you can find another singe that is close. That is all I have for you. Or is there is anyone else looking for a single seat, lower level, for Thursday?

The Dinosaur BBQ is ligit... 110% the real deal. They have some of the best BBQ in the country and they take pride in EVERYTHING they make. The beer selection is second to none and the atmosphere and music is honky tonk bluesy... totally the perfect spot. BUT, I am sure it will be beyond packed.

I have a great lower level seat in section 9 and in the 4th row. This is right next to/in front of the stage. I am very happy with the seat, but would trade it for the pit... if someone would rather have an actual seat with a great, close up view, rather than standing general admission looking up. Thanks, Frank mickjagger1009&

Taylor coming back has almost become a necessity if the Stones do continue live. The guitar section really needs a shot in the arm if these guys are going to be 70 years old and still be a guitar band. Without Taylor, a live show would become even more of a "Chuck show"... it would have to be. Keith and Ron just can't carry the gig like they used to. Less travel and staying camped

The one from Texas 78 is great. I love how the guitars make it almost a bluesy sounding song... But the version that really hooked me early on, is actually the official music video to the song. Mick is almost creepy in it, but it has such Stonesy character... just great. That is my favorite Stones video of all time and the best version of Miss You, even if it is not the best musically.
