Quotebv Mick Taylor was waving the four Stones forward, while Keith and the rest of the band said Mick you are part of us, come up and take the final bow with us. The result can be as seen in the new picture on the home page of IORR.com now... Amazing! A dream come true...and now we want Mick Taylor also on a new album!

QuoteJumpinJackOLantern When I said I would take the Some Girls bonus tracks over the original I wasn't kidding. I am still not kidding! Can't get enough of it! It's easily become my favorite Stones album of all time! Don't Be A Stranger is my favorite Stones song at the moment. Wish they would do it live. I partially agree. It's a good album but they have left out the best outtakes from that p

The problem is that you have to get back to work as a real team and not to prepare demo separately,

He tells USA Today, “It would be nice to have a new album, but people don’t like the new album when you play it on stage. They glumly look at you. ‘OK, it will be over in a minute.’ It’s not a good excuse, but it’s the truth and has to be said.” Dear Mick, people like good songs. Quotefilstan This album should have been a double lp. It would have stood up as one of their greatest recorded achievements. The outtakes from these sessions remain one of my favorite plays over many, many years. The raw cuts have so much power even th the compromised sound quality. Love this stuff. I agree and without considering great outtakes never published as I need you, Misty roads, Danci

On 'Sweet Thing' we can hear different ways to sing the same son: falsetto, standard, sensual and powerful. No one can sing in a so eclectic way. Then 'Mother of a man'. Strong and powerful. The way he sings 'I wanna testify, it's a crazy, crazy, crazy world out there' (2:37 - 2:45) it's incredible.

QuoteTeddyB1018 Apparently Don Was mentioned this again specifically last night during his presentation at the Grammy Museum. He described it as a "hit then, and a hit now". I'll ask next I see him why it didn't make the track list for Exile. Perhaps they discovered it was recorded after the time period, or they're saving it. Either way, we now know it didn't morph into one of the ot

Quotegotdablouse Some of us probably remember Keith coming out of the Paris 2002 sessions at the Guillaume Tell studios (May 13 - June 7) saying that it was the best music that they had recorded in years (well they hadn't recorded together since 1997 after all) and that they had more than 30 songs (actually Ronnie may have said that...), anyway I was taking a peak at my Four Flicks DVD for the fi

Released in August 1981, Tattoo You is widely regarded as the Rolling Stones' last great album; an ingenious division of rock tracks on one side and ballads on the other captures "the world's greatest rock & roll band" close to their best. Nevertheless, despite the confident musicianship and apparent consistency of material, the record was actually little more than a compilation
